Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of the ShinoBee app and related services. By using ShinoBee, you agree to these Terms. These Terms are intended to function as the end user license agreement (EULA) for the app.
These Terms are between you and the ShinoBee app provider, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content except to the extent required by applicable law.
1. Eligibility and Account
- You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information.
- You are responsible for activity under your account credentials.
- You must use the app in compliance with applicable laws and App Store requirements.
- You must not use the app if applicable law or platform rules prohibit your use of it.
2. Subscriptions and Billing
- ShinoBee offers auto-renewable subscriptions billed through the Apple App Store.
- The subscription title, billing period, and price shown on the purchase screen are part of the purchase terms for that subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through your Apple account settings before the end of the current billing period.
- To avoid the next charge, cancel before the current period ends. If you do not cancel, renewal will continue on the same subscription cycle.
- Cancellation and refunds are managed by Apple according to their policies and the laws that apply in your region.
- If a subscription is active on your Apple account, access to Pro features continues until the current billing period ends.
- Any tax, regional pricing, or storefront-specific billing adjustments are handled by Apple and may vary by country or storefront.
- If subscription pricing changes for future renewals, Apple will apply the rules and notices required by the App Store.
3. Acceptable Use
- Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with app operation.
- Do not upload or submit content that is unlawful, abusive, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate for a language learning service.
- Do not reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the app or its related materials except where permitted by law.
- Do not use the app to generate or distribute content that violates third-party rights or applicable law.
4. User Content
- You retain rights to content you submit, subject to the rights you grant us to operate the service.
- You are responsible for the content you enter and for ensuring it does not violate the rights of others.
- You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display your submitted content only as needed to operate, improve, and support the service.
- We may remove or restrict content if we believe it violates these Terms or applicable law.
5. Service Availability
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also perform maintenance that affects availability.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure service.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
ShinoBee is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Language learning, speech recognition, and AI-generated feedback may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You should not rely on them as the only source of truth for important decisions.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
If your account is terminated, your access to Pro features and stored content may end, subject to applicable law and retention obligations.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
